This patient presented with double vision and subsequently underwent a customized approach including bilateral decompression, eyelid and strabismus surgeries. His overall appearance and comfort have both improved from the treatment he received.

This patient came to Dr. Douglas with bulging eyes and a lot of irritation but was not experiencing double vision. Her treatment goal was to reduce the eye bulging, specifically to reduce the white under eyes, so she could look like her normal self again. To reduce the eye bulging and scleral show, Dr. Douglas performed a customized lateral and fat decompression. The patient achieved a substantial 6mm reduction in proptosis and was very happy with the outcome.

This patient came to us with significant proptosis, was unable to close her eyes, and was experiencing eye pan. Dr. Douglas created a customized surgical plan that focused bone removal in order to reduce her proptosis and the white show under her eyes. The surgery resulted in a 6mm reduction in proptosis and improved lower eyelid positioning. She did not require any additional surgery.
