In this week’s episode of Thyroid Thursday, freelance makeup artist (and our very own) Jean Kim (@jeamkin on Instagram) teaches us how to cover up dark under eye circles or bruises after surgery with makeup.
8 Steps to Concealing Dark Circles and Bruises
Apply orange color-correction concealer on the bruise or dark circle.
Blend out the concealer with a damp makeup sponge.
Apply more orange concealer on the really dark areas.
Apply a concealer 1 – 2 shades lighter than your skin tone.
Make sure to blend this newest layer of concealer in.
Add more light layers of concealer if you need more coverage.
Set the concealer with a translucent setting powder.
Gently dust off the excess powder with a clean fluffy brush.
Always use gentle dabbing motions. Never wipe! This will make sure you have maximum coverage.
