Dr. Raymond Douglas
Raymond Douglas, MD, PhD is a world-renowned oculoplastic surgeon, specializing in Thyroid Eye Disease treatments. Dr. Douglas has dedicated his career to advancing the treatment options for patients with this disease, including his customized approach to orbital decompression. Dr. Guy Massry
Guy Massry, MD is a board certified ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in surgical and non-surgical procedures around the eyes, forehead, eyebrows, and mid-face. More specifically, Dr. Massry has expertise in cosmetic and revision eyelid surgery. Colleagues from around the world refer patients to Dr. Massry for his ability to successfully perform the most complicated revision eyelid surgeries in the least invasive approach possible.
As a result of his expertise and dedication to his field, Dr. Massry has developed a reputation as an excellent educator, clinician and surgeon. He is routinely invited to train other physicians and lecture about his techniques nationally and internationally. Furthermore, he writes textbooks and peer-reviewed articles on ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Babak Larian
Head and Neck Surgeon
Babak Larian, MD is a highly respected board-certified Head and Neck surgeon, with special expertise in thyroid surgery and is the current Clinical Chief of the Division of Otolaryngology at Cedars-Sinai Hospital. His minimally invasive approach to thyroid surgery lowers the risk of complications and yields incredibly high success rates.Due to his unparalleled expertise, patients from around the world travel to Los Angeles to be treated by Dr. Larian.
As the recipient of numerous prestigious honors and awards, including being named one of the Top Doctors in the field of head and neck surgery by U.S. World and News Report, Dr. Larian is one of the most esteemed and knowledgeable surgeons in the United States. Dr. Babak Azizzadeh
Facial Plastic and
Babak Azizzadeh, MD, FACSis a leading facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon with a special interest in facial nerve disorders. His client list includes executives, dignitaries, celebrities, and even other physicians from around the world.
Dr. Azizzadeh has pioneered several procedures to regenerate facial movement in patients with facial paralysis and Bell’s palsy. Most recently, he developed a procedure called Selective Neurectomy that is the first surgery of its kind to restore facial movement for patients with sykninesis and permanent Bell’s palsy. This surgery was recently featured on Inside Edition with his patient Mary Jo Buttafuoco.
Furthermore, Dr. Azizzadeh has published medical textbooks and numerous peer-reviewed articles, received many honors and awards, as well as presented at the national and international level. Additionally, major media outlets have sought out Dr. Azizzadeh for his expertise in anti-aging treatments, landing him spots on The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Doctors, People Magazine, Los Angeles Times,New York Times, and many more.
Dr. Amy Patel
Associate Oculoplastic Fellow
Amy Patel, MD, is an ophthalmologist who earned her degree from University of California, Irvine. She finished her ophthalmology residency at UC Irvine’s Gavin Herbert Eye Institute in 2016 where she also served as the Chief Resident. During her time at UC Irvine, she published several articles and received many awards for her writing and academic achievements. She is currently furthering her ophthalmology training to include oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery.
Jean Kim, COA, OSA
Director of Operations and Patient Care
Jean Kim is a certified ophthalmic assistant and certified ophthalmic surgical assistant who graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology and a specialty in Bioethics, Humanities, and Society. Her unique experience in both administration and clinical ophthalmology skills are used to provide our patients with personalized care and superior service.
