Raymond Douglas, MD, PhD is an internationally recognized expert in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. His unparalleled knowledge and advanced surgical techniques have made his practice in Beverly Hills a destination for patients in need of both cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid and orbital surgery. In addition to his primary practice in Beverly Hills, he has an office in Shanghai, China.
To provide his patients with extraordinary results, he combines surgical precision with an aesthetic eye to achieve optimal results for his cosmetic and reconstructive patients alike. Dr. Douglas’ areas of expertise include cosmetic eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), brow lift, mid-facelift, complex revision eyelid surgery, aesthetic correction of bulging eyes, thyroid eye disease, cancers of the eyelids and face, and trauma-induced orbital injuries.
When treating patients, Dr. Douglas’ philosophy is to customize each surgical plan to the specific needs of each individual patient. Whether a patient is looking for a “routine” blepharoplasty or a complex orbital decompression surgery, Dr. Douglas’ priority is to spend a lot of time with each patient to understand their needs and goals and create a treatment plan that is specifically tailored to them.
Furthermore, Dr. Douglas is a widely published author, is routinely invited to lecture around the world, has received several awards for his accomplishments in the field, and has been featured on several media outlets, including CNN and ESPN Radio.
